Lily was the perfect companion for a Christmas and New Year break in Brussels. Only a few months old, she was full of energy and curious about everything, which made the long winter evenings and rainy days so much fun!
She absolutely loved the laser pen and could not get enough of it. She looked disappointed when we stopped using it after a few minutes, but the disappointment didn’t last, as she would then go chasing after the feather toy, or a ball, with the same enthusiasm and determination.
When she got tired of playing indoors, she would ask us to let her play in the garden, where she went in search of the neighbour’s cat, a pretty and friendly Russian Blue who we had to watch out for, as he would sneak in and steal her food at every opportunity!
And in the evenings, after a long day of playing and having fun, she would come looking for a lap to curl up on.
She didn’t really have a preference, either one would do! So long as it was comfy and warm and came with strokes and plenty of cheek rubs. Happy girl, happy sitters!
