We were due to arrive at Poppy’s house a day after the home owners had left (the neighbours were looking after her in the meantime). However a French air traffic controllers strike meant we were stuck and unable to fly for another 2 days, so by the time we finally arrived she had been mostly on her own for 3 days, and she let us know all about it!
